At aGeek we believe there is a better way to do Electronics, I.T., Mobile Tech, Websites & Software Integration & Security. A more valuable, less drastic, less wasteful, less costly and more environmentally aware way. We are obsessive about it and we want our clients to benefit from our obsession. We have individual Geeks who specialise in their own fields and as a business we bring the necessary ones together to provide the best solution for our customers’ particular needs.
The idea of aGeek was born and founded in 2009. Initially retail only, we now provide everything I.T. that your business may need and even printed circuit board repairs to the Trade. So why not come to where the trade go for help.
By their very nature our Geeks will keep our clients’ data and faith in our services sacrosanct. When you deal with them in person you will find them friendly, communicative, affable, charming, reassuring and, most importantly, skilled and knowledgeable.
Wingerworth Wildlife was and is formed by villagers who want to protect, promote & preserve the natural world within their Parish.
They were concerned that the changes, both from Man and Nature herself, are/were causing pressures and loss of wildlife & habitat.
They are not religiously or politically affiliated and any or all are welcome. To join them they only ask that you share our love of nature. So aGeek Did!
BWT are a social enterprise that manages and protects woodlands in Derbyshire. All their team members are adults who have a learning disability and their team members are at the heart of what they do.
They give their team exciting opportunities to develop new skills and the confidence to make a real difference in their communities.
Everything the BWT do is about protecting our woodlands. They want to make them sustainable for communities to enjoy now and in the future.
A board of volunteers run the enterprise. These volunteers include team members, staff, parents and carers and local councillors. This includes support from aGeek.
Charlie’s Place was founded to prevent the suffering of
animals, provide a public service through a
knowledgeable wildlife rescue, and to educate.
We rescue animals via abandonment and relinquishment,
and rehabilitate wildlife for release. Animals who come into
our care are afforded all available opportunities for recovery,
providing individual, specialist care that each animal needs.
The welfare of animals is our utmost priority and we
ensure that all animals are assessed and given the
care that they necessitate.
Domestic and farmed animals will be rehomed into suitable,
life-long homes and wildlife will be released back into the wild.
For any animal who needs specialist care and an
appropriate home does not come forward,
they will be afforded sanctuary and the care that they require.
No healthy animal will be euthanised, and this is
only carried out when it is in the best interest of the animal.
